Vintage Moose

Yankee's 39 year old starting pitcher Mike Mussina looked like the moose of old last night against the White Sox. He gave up 2 earned runs on 4 hits through 7 strong innings of work. He has been highly criticized lately because of his poor pitching performances, but last night showed that he might still have some left in the tank.

The Yankees went on to win the game 6-4. Jorge Posada and Johnny Damon each drove in 2 runs and Mariano Rivera earned his sixth save of the year while he has still not given up a run this year.
