With current Yankee Andy Pettitte and former Yankees Chuck Knoblauch and Roger Clemens named in the the Mitchell Report, which is a report on steroids in baseball, Yankee Captain Derek Jeter doesn't see it having an affect on his team. Jeter stated, "You know how it is in New York, there's always questions. It will probably die down after the first couple days when he talks to the media, addresses them and answers those questions. But in New York, there's always something every year. ... It might be a little different for Andy. Other than that, I don't think so".
I agree with what Jeter says. A good example of this is Jason Giambi. He admitted to steroid use two years ago and he came back and won comeback player of the year and his steroid use seemed to faid away. With Pettitte, he did admit to it and he said he used it to recover from elbow surgery and that it was not to obtain an unfair advantage.

Derek Jeter says that roids will not affect him. I find that a little hard to believe. I think he and the rest of the yankees were glued to their T.V. sets yesterday during the hearings on Cspitol Hill.
